Privacy policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This policy explains which personal data Terra Prospector processes, why, and what rights you have. Terra Prospector is a workbench for mineral exploration offered to businesses; it processes open geoscience data for the areas its users investigate.

Who is responsible

MM Two Digital FZE LLC, CWS-1V-229959, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Sheikh Khalifa Street, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Email: hello@terraprospector.com.

For website visitors, access requests and workbench accounts we are the controller. For personal data contained in surveys, assays or reports a customer uploads, we act on the customer's behalf.

Visiting the website

When you open terraprospector.com, the server receives your IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent and the referring page. We use this only to deliver the pages, keep the service secure and find errors. Server logs are rotated automatically and kept only for a short time.

We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts, images and films are served from our own server, so opening the website sends nothing to third parties.

Access requests

When you send the access form we store your name, work email, company, role, the area you describe, the plan you chose and the time. We use this to answer you and to set up a pilot. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Requests that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months.

The workbench

For workbench users we store name, email address, the organization, sign-in times and the areas, investigations, notes and files your team creates or uploads. We use this to provide the service and keep it secure. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Satellite, geological and exploration data that Terra reads comes from public sources and is about ground, not people. Historic exploration records can name the companies or people who held a claim or wrote a report; Terra shows these as the public source states them.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies. The workbench uses only what is strictly necessary to keep you signed in, which needs no consent.

Service providers

Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): server hosting and email delivery. It processes data only on our instructions.

To process an area, the workbench downloads data from public archives such as NASA Earthdata and ESA Copernicus. These requests contain the area's coordinates and our own account details, never yours.

Before we add a provider that receives personal data, we update this list.

Transfers outside the EU

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and our server is hosted by Hostinger. Where data of people in the EU or UK is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which our providers offer.

Payments

Paid plans are billed by invoice. For this we use the company name, address, VAT number and contact person you give us, and keep invoices for as long as tax law requires.

Emails

We send emails needed to answer your request and run your account. We do not send newsletters without your consent.

How long we keep data

Account data and workspace content are kept while the contract runs. When it ends, we delete the workspace within 30 days, except data we must keep by law, such as invoices. Backups are overwritten in turn.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@terraprospector.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in the EU for example in the country where you live or work.

Changes

We update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
